STRATEGY: Mind in Motion

Activewear and accessory brand Mind in Motion contracted Contento to spread their “WORDrobe” to luxury spas across the globe. In the few short months we have been working with Mind in Motion, we have honed their messaging, ramped up their lead generation and sales strategy, and set the press wheels in motion (no pun intended!) Press placements include American Spa, Day Spa, European Spa and ISPA’s Pulse magazine. We also helped them flesh out the new UNBREAKABLE charitable campaign. Launched at the ISPA media event in Los Angeles, the goal is to wrap hundreds of ill and challenged individuals in the Mind in Motion STRENGTH Blanket, to encourage healing and inspire positive change.

Nancy Griffin delivered an interactive marketing presentation via webinar to the Starwood spa directors. Optimizing the Spa Director/Director of Marketing Relationship focused on increasing guest capture rate, encouraging repeat and local visits, and stimulating retail sales. Pre-webinar, Contento surveyed the spa directors online to aggregate best marketing practices. Nancy presented strategies for managing vendor relationships, educating and engaging hotel staff, and optimizing communication. Amanda Roman Al-Masri, Director, Global Spa Development & Operations, chimed in with support and advice for the diverse global spa directors as they shared their creative marketing tactics via chat.
